SALESBURY PARISH COUNCIL
EVENTS IN MAY 2024
Saturday 4th May - PARISH SPRING CLEAN! - Risk assessment is on the Finance/Governance page
Why not come and join us for a quick parish litter pick? We will be meeting on the car park by school at 9:30am for a safety briefing and to hand out all necessary equipment. Children under 16 are very welcome but must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. Remember to wear sturdy footwear, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Refreshments will be provided afterwards at the Memorial Hall.
Saturday 4th May - PARISH SURGERY
10.30 – 11.30am at Salesbury Memorial Hall.
Your regular opportunity to drop in and have a chat with some of your councillors. We want to hear your views, opinions, concerns and ideas. You’re also welcome to just pop in, say hello and enjoy a brew and a biscuit (or two!). We are holding this on the same day as the litter pick so that as many people as possible get the chance to come along and chat with us.
Monday 20th May – Annual Parish Meeting
6:30pm at Salesbury Memorial Hall
We extend a warm welcome to everyone at this important event in our annual calendar. This meeting is to give the Parish Council the opportunity to let local residents know what they have been doing over the past year. The meeting is also a platform for you – the Salesbury Parish electors - to have a say on anything you consider valuable to the people of the Parish. Please do join us, we’d love to see you!
Survey Results Working Group
Whilst we have already followed up on a number of the ideas, concerns and suggestions made in response to our latest Annual Survey, we would like some help. We are creating a working party to discuss other items in more detail and make proposals to the Parish Council for action. If you would like to get involved, please call in for a chat at the surgery on May 4th or email our clerk, Lesley at salesburypc@gmail.com for more details.
